For paying ~$75, I want my shoes to autodry and walk for me. This it did not. A few comments:



1. Order smaller. Columbia's 9 felt like a 10 to me.

2. Reasonably comfortable - I've tried Red Head and some off brands, and this is by far the most comfortable without chafing.

3. Good traction - gave me good grip through a fast water portage and on the trail.

4. Good quality - I usually deal with parts of the sole rubbing off, or the shoe material starting to wear after one use. I think I can use this again next year (it survived a wash/dry cycle).

5. The draw string tie is convenient and tight, but there is no easy place to secure the slack after drawing it up. I usually slipped it behind the tongue.

6. Dries reasonably well, but not as quickly as traditional water shoes.

7. The vented sides and heels are nice, except that I twice discovered leeches on my foot afterwards.
